Archangel Imaging is growing. We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Lead with a defence &/or aerospace background, who can own a range of Business Development, Sales & Partnerships activities.

Remote monitoring technology today depends on continuous operator attention and vulnerable infrastructure. Our technology helps make sensors, robots and drones smart enough to operate alongside people as team mates, allowing human-machine teams to finally solve some big, stubbornly persistent problems in the World. We specifically focus on serving society’s most exposed workers in law enforcement, defence, emergency first responders and NGOs. Your impact will directly benefit those who frequently operate in harm’s way on everyone else’s behalf.

You will be working closely with the CEO, CTO and Chief of Staff, marketing lead, project manager and the wider team on a regular basis. We have a super-talented, positive, supportive and highly engaged team who enjoy winning and learning together, as demonstrated by our multi-year project wins with Defence, Rail, Maritime and Space organisations. Last year we won the World’s largest UAV accelerator and opened our USA office.

How you will make an impact

  • Engage with the market, helping our customers & users succeed whilst gathering new product insights for future development
  • Win new business & partnerships including writing high quality proposals & collateral
  • Extend our international reach via events, partnerships and customer relationship building, particularly in the US.
  • Build, operate, manage and methodically improve a repeatable sales system(s) that can scale as we add staff

You must have these to apply:

  • A history of winning from working closely and effectively with customers, users and partners as a business development lead, product manager or project manager
  • Aerospace, security or defence domain knowledge, experience, network and contacts
  • Familiarity with startups / scaleups or demonstrated ability, knowledge and desire to work in similar environments, building new systems and solving the challenges associated with novel products and market development
  • Willingness to travel (overseas, UK, Europe) and commute to the office 2x/week when not travelling
  • Security clearance eligibility

Nice to have (Highlight these in your application to stand out)

  • Exposure to different multi-channel sales and go-to-market approaches
  • Experience building sales systems and teams from scratch
  • Experience selling AI, UAV or robotic products
  • Experience in deep-tech marketing or in markets with developing problem/solution awareness
  • Experience leading a small team
  • Business management framework knowledge or qualifications
